MD Codes™

What is MD Codes™?

It is a combination of techniques developed by a brazilian plastic surgeon that reinforces the importance of facial aesthetic subunits as structural points that will recreate a more natural and desirable facial architecture for patients.

The MD Codes ™ originated in the 8-point Lifting technique, which consists of a treatment with dermal fillers developed to strategically combine different injection sites for direct and indirect results, giving volume and structure to the face. The goal is to get a non-surgical facelift, with no scars and no recovery time.

MD Codes ™ is suitable for anyone and is a useful tool to help patients understand treatment motivation. The technique divides the face into twelve subregions and each of these units is analyzed and treated individually.

The face is a mechanical structure with soft and hard tissues that need support to deal with gravity. For example, treatment of the malar region with volumizing fillers may improve the appearance of the nasolabial sulcus and the junction between the eyelid and the cheek region.

Procedure steps

The product used is hyaluronic acid in different presentations designed to meet the specific anatomical needs of each área of the face. Basically, there are three types of hyaluronic acid fillers used in the MD Codes ™ treatment. Each of these is indicated for a different area of the face, either with the aim of restructure, restore the volume, fill depressions or improve the contour of the lips.

After careful facial assessment, the areas to be filled are planned. Each injection usually takes only a few moments per site.

Ideally, MD Codes ™ should be faced as a treatment to be planned and not as a single procedure. In this way, patients can program themselves in the best way and the benefits of facial rejuvenation are constantly maintained and improved.
